Creative Collaborations can gain a momentum not possible for individuals. In the arts, which tend to be solo enterprises based upon specific talent sets, the virtual world is destined to bring like-minded creatives together, no matter where they are. The practice of teaming up expands when participants look beyond country boundaries, even beyond competition, to create works greater than their parts.

Implied throughout the approaches in all these duos is setting aside ego to be open for a 50/50 exchange. It can be a measure of commitment to do so, as the art becomes more important than the identity of the participants.

Sim Street Journal #15 discovers these qualities of collaboration in the contributors:

Mike Carnell and Kevin Thomas, in their duo-streams, are quintessential collaborators. Mastering the technology gives them expanded horizons. The Dynamic Duoism of Mike00 Carnell and KevinMThomas Carpool” [See full version in-world]

River Lemondrop and Emily Lemondrop, with complimentary talents, share decisions and roles in building a music venue that combines all the characteristics of success. “River’s Recipe for Lemony Leadership” by River Lemondrop [See full version in-world]

Asmita Duranjaya and Sable (snakeappletree) reach beyond their creativity by incorporating many other artists and concepts into a complete whole in their LEA sim. “Cohesive Collaboration: ‘Paradise of Cyberpolis’”

Heavy Writer and Eleanor Medier love to banter over art, which then becomes its own art form, when photography and insights become pages. The Aesthete and the Amateur: “The Fragile Confrontations of Mistero Hifeng” [See the in-world edition for additional photographs]

Alexia Sulamericana and Eleanor Medier come from very different real worlds, but through a devotion to Sim Street Journal, scout the environment for meaningful experiences. Through Critic’s Choice, they present conclusions. “Cyber Collaborations” by Eleanor Medier
