Death with-or-without Birth? The Artist and the Critic

A chat with artist Pale Illusion gives context to “The Void,” reviewed in Sim Street Journal #17 in-world edition (page 48). Art Critic Eleanor Medier takes Pale’s advice and visits “You Can’t Touch Heaven,” a “Part One” for the piece that was reviewed from the University of Western Australia’s 3D Art Challenge: Pursue Impossible. “The Void,” explains Pale, is really a “Part Two” for a larger concept. As promised, the critic compares the two works, expands her evaluation to illuminate the dichotomy of artist-intention to message-conveyed, and adds to her review in“Pale on Bold Perceptions.”

Pale Illusion on Bold Perceptionsappears in Eleanor Medier’s blog so she can use the first-person form of writing, versus the third-person style of journal articles (such as this one).
